Our History

In 1987, export specialists of several Bavarian major companies gathered at the “Münchner Kompensationsrunde” (MKR; Munich compensation session) under the pressure of the globally increasing demand for compensation. In the following years, this session had been evolving to the crucial all-German forum for compensation topics In February 2000, it was registered as incorporated association with non-commercial purpose under the name “Deutsches Kompensations Forum e.V. (DKF)”.

To underline its international-wide focus the members decided to eliminate the German words "Deutsches Kompensationsforum" leading to the new name "DKF e. V." Members are European and Global experts of export industry companies.
